Treasurer

Serves as financial officer and, in that position, maintains financial records and monitors the Crew budget
Collects and disburses Crew funds
Communicates with the officers and members on a regular basis to keep them informed about the Crew's finances


The Crew Treasurer is responsible for keeping accurate records of the income and expenditures of the Crew's funds. The Crew expects an exact accounting of all the money taken in or paid out.

The Treasurer collects, deposits and accounts for all money coming to the Crew from dues, money-earning projects or other sources. The Treasurer makes monthly reports at the Crew meetings and officers' meetings of the status of the Crew's budget and treasury.

The Treasurer will setup the budget by estimating income and expenses based on the Crew's activity calendar. The Treasurer is responsible for reviewing the budget with the Crew officers, the Advisor and the individual Activity Chairs .

The Treasurer sees to it that all expenditures are approved by the Crew officers and the Advisor before requesting a check from the Committee Treasurer. The Committee Treasurer is assigned to assist the Treasurer in bookkeeping procedures, administering the bank account and money handling.
