Initiates and commits to a Venturing Crew Recruits adult Advisors and Committee Members Provides program resources Secures meeting facilities The Chartered Organization is a church, school, labor group, professional society, civic club or other community organization that receives an annual charter from the Boy Scouts of America to operate a Venturing Crew. The program, leadership and membership of the Crew are determined by the Chartered Organization within the framework and policies of the BSA.
